The British Grand Prix 2010

This weekend was the 2010 British Grand Prix at Silvertstone (yay). Once again my Dad and I went to enjoy the racing and a few beers @ Silverstone Golf Club who put on camping, beer and food for the weekend. The racing was good and McLaren pulled a great result out of the bag (2nd & 4th) after dismal practice and qualifying sessions. The car just would not go around corners! We didn't manage to get a pit tour but hopefully will manage to get one for Monza (My 30th Birthday if you are reading this Team McLaren!). The support races provided some good entertainment (as usual) and the new track layout seemed to work well (the drivers didn't like the bumps, but they were good for the crowd!).

Remote Control Cars

This last week I have been tinkering with remote control cars again. Driving them is fun, but tinkering with them is a lot of fun too. Now I have to admit to not really knowing what I am doing but giving it my best shot. I have at present 2 cars, both are 'vintage' Tamiya's and both have needed a little (or a lot) of TLC in order to get them to run properly.
