So I have got a place in the Great North Run (September) and have entered the ballot for the London Marathon next year. So a lot of training is to come over the next year. On Sunday I took the first step … no not by going for a run but by buying some new trainers so I can start this week. Sports Direct … trainers significantly cheaper than in running shops but don't expect helpful, knowledgeable or even attentive staff … good job I knew what I was after.
