So today I got the 'no space for you' letter from the London Marathon. Backup plans of Nottingham or Edinburgh are swinging into action. Need to know the date of Nottingham and whether or not I'm heading to the Monaco GP before I can decide which to do. 

Kind of thought it would happen this way but a little disappointed to have not got a place.

• September 2012 – Robin Hood Marathon, Nottingham (26.2 miles) – Entries not yet open (Backup Plan A if London doesn't pan out, hopefully won't clash with GNR)
• September 2012 – Great North Run (13.1 miles) – Entry Confirmed – Race Number: TBC
